Like many of us, I work with offshore people as well as remote
developers and QA that are stateside, but not in my physical office.
I love brainstorming with whiteboards in real time and have been looking
for tools and methods to do this with team mates who are not local.
There are tons of collaborative whiteboard products on the market, but I
haven't found any that work well for me. Do you know of any?
I've also been looking at sketching software like Sketchbook Pro as well
as rapid prototyping tools like Balsamiq but nothing seems to give me
the freedom, flexibility, and immediacy of a physical whiteboard.
My company uses GoToMeeting so I can easily do screen sharing.
It's possible that there isn't any good substitute for people sitting in
the same room with a whiteboard...but perhaps some of you have figured
out a better solution.
Let me know your thoughts!
Best
